What we do for IATA-accredited agencies

Eight services, each with a defined scope. Most begin with a review of your BSPlink data and end with a written handover. Fees are fixed wherever the scope allows it.

  1. PCI DSS SAQ

IATA's card sales rules require agents that store, process or transmit cardholder data to maintain PCI DSS compliance, evidenced each year through a Self-Assessment Questionnaire. Filing the wrong SAQ type, or letting the attestation lapse, puts both card acceptance and your standing with IATA at risk. We determine which SAQ applies to how your agency actually handles cards, complete it with you, and make sure it is filed before the deadline.

  2. Consulting services

Some questions do not fit a defined project: a notice from IATA you are not sure how to answer, a risk event after a change in your figures, a new market you want to ticket in, an internal process you suspect is fragile. We act as the BSP practitioner your agency does not have on staff, on a per-question basis or under a monthly retainer, grounded in the Passenger Sales Agency Rules and the resolutions that govern your accreditation.

  3. ADM review

Agency Debit Memos are where BSP discipline shows. Every memo has a cause (a fare rule misapplied, a booking-class mismatch, an exchange processed wrongly, a commission recalled), and most agencies dispute too few of them and prevent none. We review your ADMs memo by memo, dispute the ones with grounds through BSPlink inside the window, and trace the recurring causes back to the desk where they start.

  4. Refunds

Refunds are where agency cash goes to wait. Direct refunds mishandled in the GDS turn into ADMs; refund applications sit unanswered in BSPlink; passengers chase the agency while the agency chases the airline. We run the refund workload properly (correct channel, correct documentation, persistent follow-up) and reconcile what comes back against your billing so recovered money is actually recognised.

  5. BSP & BSPlink training

Most BSP knowledge inside agencies lives in one person's head, and it leaves when they do. Our training is built for the people who actually issue, exchange and refund tickets: how the BSP cycle works, how to read the billing, how to navigate BSPlink and its reports, and how ADMs, ACMs and refunds are handled in practice. Delivered live and remote, or in-house at your agency, always on your own reports rather than slides of someone else's.

  6. Annual financial review

Once a year, GoStandard agencies are assessed against their market's Local Financial Criteria, and the result is not academic: it drives your Remittance Holding Capacity and the financial security IATA requires. Agencies routinely fail this assessment on presentation rather than substance: the wrong statements, missing notes, avoidable balance-sheet choices. We prepare the submission properly, forecast the RHC and security implications before IATA calculates them, and handle the response if a failure notice arrives anyway.

  7. Accreditation changes

Changes that feel administrative from inside the agency (a new shareholder, a rebrand, a move, an added branch) are formal notifiable events under the sales agency rules, some requiring prior approval and most capable of triggering a financial review. Sequenced badly, a routine change can freeze ticketing or trigger security demands. We manage the change through the IATA Customer Portal from notification to confirmation, in the right order and with the right supporting documents.

  8. GoLite & GoStandard accreditation

For a new agency, IATA accreditation is a documentation project with a financial exam attached: legal setup, premises and staff evidence, financial statements, and, for GoStandard, a financial security sized to your expected sales. We manage the application end to end under either model, and we manage the transition in both directions: GoLite to GoStandard when you need a cash facility, GoStandard to GoLite when the bond no longer justifies itself.
